I am here to deliver a speech on the topic "Media is a necessary evil".
Media is characterized as a means of storing and delivering news or other information to the masses. It is an evil that is necessary for all of us. It is an important tool for creating, sharing, and disseminating information not only locally but worldwide.
In the modern world, media has become a platform for interaction, connectivity, and access to news as well as other types of information for every age-group in one or another form. Print media and digital media both have their own significance in reaching out to the people.
Social media these days is playing a crucial role in bringing the world as it allows people to communicate with each other in seconds, express their views, and share information through images, videos, etc. Its use is not only restricted to personal purposes but for commercial, political, and economic purposes as well.
The companies are using these platforms for the promotion of their products, conduct online meetings/interviews, etc. while the political parties are developing and propagating their agendas as per the consumer trends online.
While these days, it has been an excellent platform for people to showcase their talent of teaching, yoga, acting, cooking, dancing, and other activities and earn their livelihood by sitting home. It allows the government also to know people opinions on different policies, spread awareness about various issues, and take decisions accordingly.
This all makes us conclude that despite some negative effects like loss of privacy, improper reporting or advertisement media is a necessary evil which is crucial for communication and interaction in this ever-changing fast world.
