As this is the summer season around (though the monsoon isn't far away) we all get exhausted because of the scorching summer heat. But don't worry, there are a lot of ways in which you could best the heat!
- Stay inside. Its always better to stay in home rather than get a sunstroke out there.
- Drink more water to keep yourself dehydrated. Drinking water will help you to keep your body temp. normal and you'll feel better throughout..
- Make ice creams, lollies, yogurts, fruit juice to keep yourself cool and comfy.
- Close the window curtains during the day to keep sunlight and hot wind from coming in and stay in the coolest parts of your house.
- Put a damp cloth on your neck and spray water on yourself or around the air to keep it cool. You can also soak your feet in cool water.
- If you go outside, have loose and light clothing. Put on a hat or scarf or an umbrella for protection. Apply sunscreen.
- Open the car windows to allow air first and then close down for cooling. Don't leave anyone in a closed car.
- You can make a DIY Air condition in your home in case you don't have a real one.
- Insulate your home.Face your fan out at night to keep the room cool.
- You can hang a towel on your window to cool down the hot air coming in. Also open up the windows after the sun is down.
- You can also use a wet bed sheet while sleeping if you find it hard to sleep in summer.
