Good morning to everyone present over here . This is XYZ finds it in his/her immense pleasure to speak here on the topic "Importance of mental health on our well being" on the occasion of world health day .

A healthy minds resides in a healthy body . A person is not called healthy if he lacks any of his well being : be it physical , social or mental . Mental health is one of the burning topic of the time. According to studies , around 4% of world population suffers from anxiety disorders and about 50% of Americans deal with mental disorders once in their lifetimes .

Depression , anxiety , stress , loneliness , etc is no surprise to the modern world . 60% of the suicides have the common reason , depression . Mental health is one of the most important and most neglected topic of conversation . People often neglect their mental health . This may be to please people around them , to not have opportunities for seeking medical advise , lack of time in busy schedule , etc .

Where physical health is payed immense attention , mental health remains in a side . Very few people seek a counsellor knowing the fact that mental health is far more important than physical health . Physical health is needed but nothing could be done if a person is mentally ill . A person cannot be healthy till he achieves mental fitness .

So , at the last I would like to say that mental health should be paid the attention it requires . It shouldn't be the thing to be neglected . People should realise the importance of talking over these issues and should seek a counsellor or doctor when required .
