Write a Speech on "in what situation is lying good?"
Answers
When someone suggests that "white lies" might be justified I am reminded of the saying that it is better to tell someone the truth even if it makes them cry than it is to lie and make them smile. However, there is an important distinction to be made. Opinions are not facts so one can frame an opinion in such a way that it is not unnecessarily hurtful to someone else but stills congruent with how you see it. " do you like this dress? " - the famous example. You can say "no" or you could say, " there are others I like better on you ". Both are true but one is more tactful.

If I told you lying was good for you, you probably wouldn't believe me. But trust me--I'm not lying.!
I think we lie because it works. When we do it well, we get what we want.
We lie to avoid awkwardness or punishment. We lie to maintain relationships and please others. And, of course, most of all we lie to please ourselves. Whether we're embellishing our credentials or strengthening our stories, we often tell untruths to make ourselves appear and feel better.
Strangely enough, despite the frequency with which we lie, we are pretty bad at it. Lying--at least the intentional kind--isn't easy.
I think that It takes more work to tell a lie than it does to tell the truth"
Right??
To wrap up, I feel that people tend to tell a lie when they want to appeal or ensure something from people, especially in their social lives. They also tend to tell a lie not to hurt their family and friends in their private life. If you were the person always telling the truth, you might hurt vulnerable people without any intention. I think sometimes, we need to tell a lie rather than tell the truth.
I think that when lies are told for a good cause then the lies are good. But this doesn't mean that we keep on telling lies just by giving the reason that they are being told for good! Hope you get it!
Remember: “When truth is replaced by silence, the silence is a lie.”
So always speak truth but get used to this world and moderate yourself according to the tide that comes!
Hope it helps!
