Self-centered is a person who only thinks about himself, his own need and his own interest. They ignore the need of others and do whatever they want to do. Self-centered also use in different words like egocentric, selfish, narcissistic and so on. What make a person self centered? When a person is dishearten because of another person success or if he fails or lose with other person then the only one can help you is you; this type of such situation makes a person self-centered This self-centered transferred from generation to generation.
Majority of young generation thinks that they are superior but they are inferiors. They forget human values, they only do that thing which are beneficial for them. They forget how to respect their parents, elders etc. It is seem that students bear extra ordinary pressure in their minds regarding their education, parental and teachers pressure, political pressure, job pressure. This all type of pressure makes an individual alone and he thinks that all the pressure beard by himself alone that’s why all the fruitfulness of his work hard enjoys by him alone. The older generation believed that one day India will be inhabited by all the honest, helpful and devotional citizens. India would become the happiest place to live inherited by people with beautiful hearts. But unfortunately, today's scenario is no likely as the aspirations of our forefathers and the credit goes to the youth. Good morning to one and all present here. Today I shall present my views on the topic I feel the most concerned about,'The self centred generation'. Our forefathers sacrificed their past, present and future for the better future of the youth. They left us with an exquisite gift, a free nation, a nation free from all external controls. But keeping the fact in mind that 'one can enjoy his/her rewards when he/she is performing his/her duties' they gave us a duty, a responsibility as well, to look after the nation, to make India a happier place to live in, to eradicate discrimination, to remove arrogance, selfishness and Envy from the dictionary, etc. But we the youth kept on enjoying the gift without thinking of the responsibility. Thinking, duh, youth is not even thinking instead they are going against the wishes. Sending the old to the old aged homes, cyber bullying, late night parties, etc, are the new trends .Have you ever wondered why are old aged homes gaining more popularity? why is the number of nuclear family is increasing? just because of the self centred generation who wants maximum attention to themselves and who cares about the ones who gave birth to you. the old are not allowed to stay in the house of their old children pity on them. Technology is the word we start a day with and I must appreciate that it is one of the most significant development of the youth but until and unless it is used in the right way. People post negative comments on once post in social media which might cause stress depression anxiety or even desire to commit a suicide. Next comes hacking, youth is hacking passwords ,accounts numbers and then drawing money from others bank accounts. Sati system child marriage and all such Evil practices have ended but these new evils are no less. Wake up India just think about the sacrifices your fore fathers did and in return what they ask for, protection of the nation that's it but we couldn't even give that how selfish of allof us change At last I would like to conclude that India still you have time change yourself and the nation bring the heaven back in India and get all the evil practices extinct. I being the voice of all the four fathers request you to rethink and recover.
