Coaching classes are depriving a child of a firm foundation which can only be achieved through a school or college

Coaching classes can never provide what schools can do for the holistic development of knowledge and academic skills. Only schools and college can provide healthy educational atmosphere for proper foundation and honing of students’ performance skills.

Malcolm X has rightly said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”  And everyone seems to grab this passport by hook or crook—by crook in most of the cases. In their competitiveness they are distorting the means to the end. However, they forget education is a slow, gradual process. It can never be had by artificial methods.

Education equips one with real skills to secure a bright career, so everyone is quite serious about educating themselves. However, the notion that education can be had easily by joining coaching classes merely is quite mistaken. The craze of joining coaching centers is becoming quite widespread. Seeing this craze among the youngsters, many new coaching centers are opening up. The bitter reality is that most of these centers don’t have competent teachers. The pace of the syllabus completion is quite fast. Some students find it really difficult to cope up with this speed.

Knowledge acquisition is a slow, gradual and dynamic process that happens usually during the sincere pondering over the abstract concepts in one’s study. The so called coaching centers can paint rosy pictures about their capabilities and facilities by advertising. These coaching centers can familiarize the students with the formats of exams; however, as far as knowledge acquisition is concerned, that does not happen in the crowded rooms of such centers. Real knowledge and other skills that are required to face exams and life can only be learnt at schools and colleges.

If we look at the necessity of going to coaching classes, it is absolutely redundant and irrelevant. Going to coaching classes is a sheer wastage of money, time, and resources. There is no substitute for self-study, schools, and colleges.

One must consider all the pros and cons of coaching centers thoroughly before joining one of them.

“The coaching classes are depriving a child of the firm foundation which is only possible via school or college”

I strongly agree with the above statement as coaching institutes cannot be a substitute for the schools or colleges. The schools and colleges provide a holistic educational system which helps the students overall development and growth.

Coaching institutes are nowadays synonyms to fashion. Parents feel proud when they send their children to coaching institutes.

Schools and colleges are meant to impart requisite information to the child according to their growth whereas coaching institutes are meant only for profit making.

Solution:  Do not misguide your child by emphasizing on coaching institutes. Coaching institute might help week students to perform better, but cannot replace school or colleges. The child should be encouraged to go to school or college. If a child is facing any trouble at the school, then the school or college administration should be informed about the matter immediately.
