Here are few that I think everyone should posses.
1. It's never too late for an apology. Sometimes, even when you're not wrong and the person is worth holding on to, then it's better to bend than break. Relationships are very delicate and a small issue can ruin it. Hold on to it tightly if you feel it's worth it, even when you know you're not wrong. But also know when to stop and not over do it. Then you're just being taken for granted.
2. If you have made plans with someone, never back out. Specially in the last moment. If you absolutely have to, NEVER do it over text/SMS.
3. A handshake with a smile beats any other forms of greeting. Of course, hugs are better. But know when to give a handshake or a hug. Few people can be really uncomfortable with a hug.
4. Never use your phone/laptop when with friends or on a date. It's rude. How would you feel that the person you're on a date with, spends more time on their phone than with you?
5. Spend time with your family on your birthday. You spend every second day with your friends, and on that special day, it's better to spend time with family. That day is special for them too. Specially for your mom :)
6. Give credit when it's due.
7. When talking with someone, always look them in the eye. It's rude when someone is talking to you or listening to you while you're staring at the hot girl passing by. Unless, of course, your friend or the person you're talking to is staring at the hot girl too. ;)
