Answer:

You can inculcate good values and good habits in children by teaching them habits early, following good habits and manners by yourselves, not being overforceful, explaining the good consequences of good behavior, teaching them lessons and s. Parents play a very important role in shaping the future of their children.

Explanation:

Start early

If you inculcate right values and good habits because when they grow up they start thinking independently and forming opinions. If they are not inculcated with values and good habits then they lose the control of their life when they grown up. If you inculcate good habits and values from their tender age, then they can put it into practice easily because good habits cannot be developed quickly like the bad habits. You should inculcate those habits that can be easily inculcated by them and the kids of that age that normally follow. They should inculcate simple values such as speaking politely to elders, being neat and keeping their things in their places etc.

Do not be overforceful

Do not be very aggressive in inculcating good habits and values in children because the children are really never impressed by this behavior. This situation is very common if the child and the parents of the child are living with the elders in the house. The grandmothers or gnrandfathers are usually moreover aggressive in inculcating values in children. The parents may not be aggressive but the elders in the house may be dominant. The children on the contrary lose their confidence if everytime somebody pesters them. The elders should also realize that the values or good habits should be developed by children with their own interest also. if you tend to be more aggressive towards them, then they lose their confidence and they will not truly love you all your life. I have personally heard many people speaking that they hate their grandmothers or grandfathers because they are dominant at home.

Explain to them the good consequences for good behavior

Everytime do not make children feel that they would be punished by God or people would criticize them if they do not follow values or develop habits. Instead tell them that if you follow values and develop good habits then you can be successful in the future. You can also tell them that people are impressed by your behavior and they are ready to help you anytime. So the children are inspired to follow good habits and values. If you make them feel that good values or good habits are compulsory then they may follow them just out of compulsion and lose the true interest of life.
