  • Boyle's law:- ( pressure-volume relationship) An Anglo-irish scientists ' 'Robert Boyle' in 1962 gave the pressures- volume relationship) of gas.
  • He made some experiments on the basis of which he concluded that " At constant temperature , the pressures of a fixed amount of gas varies inversely with volume of the gas
  • that means if the pressures is doubled ,the volume is halved

  • Charles' law :- given by Jacques Charles in 1787
  • charles'law state that the volume of a given mass of a gas increases or decreases by 1/274.15 of the volume at 0° C for each degree rises or fall in temperature respectively, provided pressure is kept constant.
