We are asked to write a story about a school student who is struggling to adjust to life in her new city. The story about the school student will be written as under:
This is the story of the struggle of adjusting to the new city of my school friend called Meera. Meera is the daughter of the SP of Police and as he got transferred to Chennai Meera also had to change her school halfway through the term. My class already had their own seperate set of friends and they started treating Meera as an outsider. No matter where she went, whether in the classroom or the canteen, no other person wanted to talk to her. I did not like this sort of behavior at all and even though my group of friends prevented me to do so, I approached her and made her feel comfortable. She was very depressed as she told me that this was her situation in the neighborhood also and she did not have any friends outside the school also.
I feel very sad and decided from today she will be my best friend. I started going to her house also after school and kept her busy till her father used to come home from his duty. He also appreciated this effort of mine and till now she is my best friend and we have continued to keep in touch even though we are in seperate colleges now.
