Life of a boy/ girl before fire was discovered:

Before the discovery of fire, Life of any human would have been very different. Fire is a form of energy which we now use in our day to day lives for various purposes.

Let us see the story of a girl named Ayira who lived before the discovery of fire.  Ayira without any knowledge of how a fire looks, wakes up early in the morning and goes to the nearby pond/stream to drink water. She then moves in search of food.

All her food that she hunts or gets from the plants or trees would be done by her mostly in the day time. She collects all her food and comes back to the place where she lives.

All her food that she eats is raw and uncooked. This would have made her even ill by consuming meat or fruits or vegetable raw due to the presence of any harmful bacteria in the uncooked food.

After her meals, she reserves some amount of food for night. This is because she would not have any light source after sunset. This would limit her mobility for any need after the dusk. Ayira would not be able wander after the dark until the next day till the sun rise.

In addition to that, she would never had got a chance to taste cooked, boiled and hot food. Mostly she would feed on fruits and vegetables than on raw meat.

She takes rest after her hunt and after the sunset, she spends her night with no light and perfect darkness. Night might be too cold for her without the warmth of fire and she might have a chance of getting bitten by venomous reptiles or poisonous insects in the dark.

So, Ayira would have a sleep in a very cautious way to keep herself away from harmful insects. Then on her next day, the same routine continues.

This is how a life of a boy or girl would have been before the discovery of fire.
