Once upon a time there were two sisters. The elder sister’s name was Proma and the younger sister’s name was Ema. The senior sister was kind and gentle but ugly and the younger daughter was mean and vain but beautiful.
One day Ema was scolding at Proma which made Proma cry and she decided to go to the forest.
In the forest it was dark and spooky but Proma was brave. So she kept walking and saw a banana tree that has felt in the ground. It asked Proma to help it to stand. Proma was good. Therefore she helped the tree which made the tree pleased. It gave her a branch and told her when she will shake it, it will give her gorgeous and expensive cloths. Proma became happy and said “Thanks” to the tree and kept walking.
Then she saw a brown coloured horse trapped in a hunter’s net and it asked Proma to free it. Proma saw a sharp rock which she used to free it. Consequently it became glad and gave her a white beautiful flying folk. Proma became grateful. She said bye and left the place.
After a while, she saw a hermit praying to the god. Proma told him everything. Accordingly the hermits said go and drink a glass of water from the jar but warned her just to drink one glass of water. After drinking, she was more attractive and had lots of beautiful ornaments. Proma said thanks and went back to her house.
When she reached the house, she told Ema everything happened in the forest and told they can share the presents. But Ema said she will go to the hermit for more jewellery.
In the forest she saw the banana tree and it requested her to make it stand but Ema was bad-mannered and impolite. So she said horrible things to the tree and told it if she disturb her any more she will kill it. The tree felt annoyed but he didn’t tell anything to the obnoxious girl.
Then she saw the brown beautiful horse in the hunters net and it asked to assist it to get away from the net but Ema said she don’t need to help a filthy horse and she don’t have time to waste and at once she left the place.
When she reached the castle she was exhausted. She kicked the gate and told the hermit to bring the money. The polite hermit said to her to drink the water just one time but Ema was very greedy so she drank two glass of water which made her look dreadful she became so angry and but when she went where the hermit was praying she saw nobody. And she kept crying because she was bald and have lots of black spots in her face her dress was dirty and smelly. Then she died of a broken heart and Proma got married and lived happily ever after
