A SAD REALITY
In this time of pandemic where everything is at stake there are people who are out there for us.
There are people out there who are still working 24×7 for the safety of citizens.
Recently, I came across many incidents which just broke my heart and led me to believe that there exists people who can just go down to any level and perform hideous actions.
The way Doctors are being hit by people, is it acceptable? NO.
The way policemen are attacked, is it acceptable? NO.
The virus is so dangerous that whole country is following lockdown. Social distancing is the need of the hour, but there are professions which needs to be practiced at such a critical point of time as without them none of us would be alive.
Doctors are working day and night to heal patients without thinking that they can die as well if got infected. They are our saviors, but what are they getting in return? Stones?
Police is out there 24×7 so that they can ensure that everyone stays at home. No one steps out of their homes unnecessarily and hence everyone can be safe and sound. But, what are they getting in return? Violence? Attacks?
Some of the attacks on doctors and police were so worse that they got admitted to hospitals and their life at this point can just be probable.
There were some more incidents, where people just made a fool out of themselves by showing how much literate they are.
Our Hon'ble Prime Minister took an initiative of "Taali and Thali Bajana" for 5 minutes on 22nd March. We were asked to come out in our balconies at 5:00 PM to practice this but some people made groups and they got out of their homes for doing this.
Another initiative was of "Diya Jalao" at 9:00 PM for 9 minutes on April 5th. We were asked to switch off the lights of our homes, come out in balconies and light candles and diyas, but some people again made a mistake by taking out a rally in groups and then burning diyas and candles.
Does these two incidents followed social distancing? Did people followed what were they asked to do? NO.
Due to some people, the whole nation is suffering. It is the need of the hour to understand that this moment is not for going out and meeting people and practice unnecessary things. This is the time to stay at home and break the chain of corona infection.
This is the time to co-operate and follow right things. This isn't a time of riots. At this time, we should be united and follow social distancing. We all should understand, how serious the situation is and how badly it needs to be controlled.
I hope, people will take actions wisely and will understand the situation. I hope everyone remains safe and do only what they are required to do.
Stay safe!
