It was a sunny afternoon. Mr. Rishi Raj, a job seeker, walked up to the hilltop with great happiness. He had been in search of a job vacancy for 4 months. That day's daily newspaper woke him up with pleasant news. That news made him walk to the e-World International office at the hilltop skipping his breakfast.
What awaited him there at the hilltop office of an international company was a grand job opportunity he had been looking for! If he managed to get it, his entire life would be prosperous!
Rishi sat there at the reception waiting for his turn. As he had imagined, there were about 100 people like him waiting for that job. There was no guarantee for his selection as many of them were more experienced than him. But, he never gave up his self-confidence.
Finally his turn for the interview came. Coincidently, he was the last in the queue As soon as he entered the room of Mr. Michal, the CEO of the company, he was surprised to know that the job vacancy had been already filled by a person who had appeared for the interview just before him.
Though Rishi was disheartened that he wasn't hired, he suppressed his sorrow and moved towards the door. Suddenly, he noticed a pin lying on the floor beside the door. He picked it up carefully & threw it into the dustbin.
Suddenly, Mr. Michal called him back to his cabin. That time with a pleasant smile on his face, Mr. Michal spoke, ...
" Mr. Rishi Raj, You have been appointed to the job! Congratulations! That pin which you picked from the door had been intentionally kept by me to test the carefulness of the job seekers.
Out of the 100 job seekers who appeared for the interview, 99 people ignored that pin which might harm someone who stepped on it. You are the only person who removed that pin from the path which proves your carefulness & care for others. I told everyone the same that the previous person has been appointed. None of them bothered about the pin, but you did! Join us from next week. Thanks!"
A small thing Rishi did proved to a big thing that even secured a job for him.

Moral:
It doesn't matter how qualified you are; what matters is how careful & spontaneously thoughtful of others' safety & comfort you are. The story of Rishi Raj is a moral for all. Even a small good thing you will be paid off by God.

In these brief lines I tell the story of a past, a present and a future whose outcome as memories are tied to each other. Moments, experiences and events that will be recorded in our memory and that is part of our culture and that surely will exist for all times and spaces.
One morning on October 16 my grandmother Florence was born, exactly 77 years ago in the beautiful city Bareilly. She was the youngest of 3 siblings. His family was of humble origin. His mother Paola was dedicated to domestic work and his father Solomon dedicated to the work of the field.
His father tolerant and respectful man and full of many aspirations.
My Grandmother with sacrifice studied until the second basic grade, working later to collaborate in the familiar economy. At the age of 16 my grandmother had many suitors who with great zeal scared her father. On the contrary, his mother had already prepared for her a suitor who owns a heavy transport, which my grandmother never liked and rejected. On the contrary he met my grandfather with whom he married and he fathered 4 children of whom my mother was the oldest.
My mother tells me that they were very happy, in a home where harmony, love, communication, respect and understanding were their main company.
My grandfather adored my grandmother while suffering the contempt of his mother-in-law who did not accept that he was a humble class.
The grandmother worked hard along with her grandfather to buy a land where they also built their home. He dedicated to the work of the field, she dedicated to the preparation of crafts and planting vegetables in a field adjoining the house.
At dusk it was not unusual to see my grandfather with his grandmother drinking coffee with bread that denoted the perfect harmony.
At the age of 35 the grandmother gave birth to her last child suffered serious complications that caused her death. Leaving a widower and orphaned his three children including the newborn.
It was moments of pain for the grandfather and my mother who was the oldest and without the support of the mother-in-law who was the closest, suffered the loss and with the responsibility to fight for the family and the new member, started the beginning of another story .
These I dedicate to my mother for being a brave, special and full of love. With only 13 years dedicated his life to the breeding of his brothers and change his dreams of adolescence for work and sleeplessness also facing the loss of the grandfather who at the months of death, the grandmother disappeared and was never heard of him again.
