Write a story beginning with "I don't believe in ghosts ..."

I don't believe in ghosts but that day some strange thing happened to me and I was very frightened! One day my mother went to the market as usual and I was studying in my room and suddenly some weird sound came from the store room. I ignored the sound and kept on studying but after some time the sound came again and this time it was slightly louder. I was a little scared but moved to see what was there in the store room that was making that sound? I opened the door and too my surprise something pounced on me! I was shocked and screamed as loud as I could! After some time I opened my eyes and it was just a ball! I moved further to see what was there but there was nothing unusual and that sound also stopped. I was in shock for some time and I still never open the door of that store room.
