Begin the story with the exact same words ONLY-and then carry on with the story portraying yourself to be a detective. Then narrate the incident and why you decided that "he" was a suspect. Then continue on with the story in the present tense telling what had you done after noticing him enter the shop and the next incident which proves him to be guilty of your case. And then finally how you solved the case and exposed his true colors.And then you could praise yourself for being such a great detective..
