It was late at night when I woke up suddenly to the noise of a door creaking. I walked out of the bedroom to check out. I saw that the door was open. Maybe I forgot to lock the door properly. I checked the rooms to see that there is any thief or robber. But there was no one. I don't believe in ghost and all. So, I thought it would be opened due to the wind. As I forgot to lock it properly. I locked the door and went back to sleep.
Some minutes later again a cracking type sound came from another room. I was aware this time, that someone is there. So, I picked a stick and slowly walked towards that room. When I saw the room, there was a person wearing a mask and was having a knife in his hands. I shouted aloud 'help there's a someone in my house'. That person came towards me and I tried to run out of the house but he caught me up. I again shouted for help. Then that person closed my mouth, so I couldn't shout more and tied me up with a chair. He threatened me that he will kill me if I made any noise, I was too scared and my heart was beating fast. But luckily the neighbors heard my sound and they called the police.
Neighbors gathered out of the house, and the robber's face got pale. He tried to run from the back side of the house but suddenly police came and caught the thief.
But luckily Police arrested him and took him with them.Police also warned me of more security. This incident warned me about safety precautions. Thoughtfully my life and wealth were saved. So, from next time I won't repeat that mistake and I will be more aware of safety precautions, cause problem never knocks the door before coming, it will come suddenly so it will be better not to be careless.
