One of the friends knew how to climb a tree; unfortunately the other friend didn’t know. The friend who knew how to climb the tree, first helped his friend climb the tree. When the lion was just a few meters away, he also jumped on to the tree successfully; both the friends went up the tree as high as they could. The lion kept standing there for a long time and also tried to climb the tree, but could not.
After some time a group of shepherds came into the forest with their sheep and goats. The friends shouted for help and came down the tree. They told the incident to the shepherds. They helped them get out of the forest safely.
