I am ABC, working in XYZ company, in Chandigarh. I go to office by cab daily. The cab picks me up from my home and drops me at the office. One day, the cab got late to pick me up after office, and while waiting for the cab, I saw an elderly couple sitting under a tree near my office. They looked very sad and feeble. So, I decided to talk to them.
When I approached them, they looked as if they belonged to a good family. I asked them where did they live and about their children. They become more sad and expressed their sorrow of being thrown out of their house. Actually, the man was a retired clerk. They lived with their son at their home. The house was purchased by the man only. However, their son and daughter-in-law did not want them to stay with the son and his family, did not want to support them and hence they threw those elders out of their home.
I consoled them, and promised to help them to get their house back. I suggested them to inform the police first. As soon as they lodged an FIR, police immediately reached the house of the couple, and they took the son in the custody and ordered the the son and daughter-in-law to leave the house immediately. The elderly couple thanked me later for helping them get their house back and a place to live in. Now, the son and his family live at a rented place, and this is how I helped the elderly couple get what belonged to them.
