Abhi was obsessed with playing guitar. His parents belonging to an academic background considered studying the most important so they would never value his passion for music. Abhi felt misunderstood, dejected. He wanted to run away. There were times he even wanted to kill himself . His friends tried to make him understand that he got to make peace with his family but Abhi knew nothing would work. He only had two choices : either he would have to live in the house according to his parent's terms, or he'd have to leave the house. Abhi couldn't decide. His mind was torn between living in his family and pursuing a career in music. He didn't talk to anyone for a couple of days; he was frustrated. He'd sit alone and stare at his books and guitar kept side by side. It was a difficult choice for a nineteen year old chap . He was terribly confused. Days went by . He hardly ate.....he was emaciated into a skeleton. The day came. He couldn't bear it anymore. He had taken the decision, but it wasn't any of the two choices....it was to kill himself. he latched the door from inside. It was 1 'o' clock in the midnight. Everybody was asleep. he had the blade in his hand. He cut his wrist....the cut was deep. He screamed out of pain. His mother was somehow, kinda awake and as she heard the noise...she rushed out of her room and started banging the door of abhi's room.

"What's the matter????? Why's  the door locked???"

abhi's father, hearing the screams came out too and finally they succeeded in breaking the door to find their son lying down unconscious....his wrist bleeding.
The next day abhi opened his eyes in the hospital to find his parents crying. His friends' eyes brimming with tears. The quarrels were over. They solved it among themselves. Abhi finally sat to study. And in the evening, when his mother would make tea, he'd play his guitar.....his parents and he finally understood each other.
