Last Sunday, I was watching TV suddenly I heard people shouting outside, I hurry outside and saw people gathered around something. I ran towards the crowd of men and pushed my way through to see. A small puppy was lying on the pavement badly injured after being hit by a car. I was shocked to see that nobody helped the puppy and were chatting while blood was oozing out his legs and he thrived in pain. I quickly went inside my house, brought the first-aid box, and dressed his leg. After that, I picked him up on my lap and got on to rickshaw and went to the nearest vet clinic. Alas, the one near my house was closed as it was a Sunday. I couldn't bear the puppy's pain and went to my friend's house and got a cycle and start riding on it with my friend who was willing to help me. After skimming through about 6 localities we finally came across a vet clinic where we appointed the puppy. The doctor checked him, gave him medicines, and also bandaged his leg and said his fees would be rs.500 but I had no money. But as a blessing, you may call it another owner of a dog paid for the expenses. I couldn't stop thanking him and went back home happily with the puppy. As I reached home my mother was furious about my little adventure which I had got onto without caring to inform her but that was alright with me because that day I had saved a life if not of a human but a dog.
