A boy was waiting for the bus at the bus stop. He saw an old man who was just crossing the road. Suddenly a car was coming towards him from the opposite side. Then he rushed towards the old man. His heart was beating fast. He was scared that the old man will get hit by the car. But the old man didn’t move at all. The car hit the old man but it didn’t stop.
He was surprised to see that the old man was still moving. Then he saw blood dripping from the old man’s leg. The boy was so sad to see the old man in this condition. He was helpless and so was the old man. Then he thought of something and ran to the nearby shop. He came back with a bottle of water. He asked the old man if he can let the old man drink some water.
Then, an idea suddenly came to his mind. He took his phone from his pocket and dialled a number.
He was afraid that the accident was caused because he did not cross the road. He was also afraid that someone will blame him for this. However, he had no other option left. He had to help the old man.
He called the ambulance and explained the situation to the person who answered the phone. He asked them to inform the police and rescue team that there was an old man lying on the road and a boy was standing there, frozen with fear. Then he asked them to inform the old man that he should not be worried about anything and that the rescue team and the police will come and help him. He also asked them to inform the old man that he will be there with him in the ambulance.
The police and rescue team came and took the old man away in the ambulance.
