Ramesh hadn’t done his homework. His teacher was very strict and he feared what would happen. His mind raced with several excuses. But when he reached school he found that there was no one. Only the gate keeper and a few teachers were there. He thought he was dreaming but he wasn't.

There was not a single student there ! Why where have they gone ? Is today a holiday? No , it isn't it's just a regular Tuesday.

Then why is there no one? He went forward to his maths teacher Ms.Katie , who was surprised to see him.

She said to Ramesh , "Why are you hear so early ? Wasn't a notice given to you all that today everyone will come at 3 pm for the prize distribution for the drawing competition held last week?

Ramesh replied that he had forgotten about it and also apologised. The teacher called his parents to pick him up and take him back home.
