It was the time of dusk. The park presented a deserted look as most of the evening walkers and revellers had gone to their homes. An old man was sitting on a bench in one corner of the park. He was remembering his past days when he was a famous singer in the college. He remembered the day he was honoured on the stage by the principal for winning a trophy. His classmates had clapped whole. heartedly. Among the clappers was his friend Neha whom he secretly loved but never dared to express his love. He had never seen her after the college days. He thought that like him she too would have grown old by now. As soon as this thought came into his mind an old woman with grey hair stood before him. To his greatest surprise, she was Neha who at once recognised him even in semi-darkness. She sat beside him on the same bench and asked him how he was. Overcome by emotion, he told her about all the good and bad happenings of his life. Neha listened to him and sympathised with him. Suddenly he felt a strange sort of attraction towards her.
