I sighed for I knew this meant delaying our trip. I had been planning for this trip, for weeks now. I had been bored my entire summer vacations. I was angry at monsoon for arriving now. We were supposed to travel to the mountainous regions of Naran and Kaghan located in Pakistan. It was said to be one of the prettiest places.
My dad ran out to pick up our stuff which would have been probably soaked by now. When dad came back inside, the poor man was drenched himself. Its surprising how in a matter of a few minutes, a massive downpour began.
I ended up lounging on my sofa for hours, waiting for the rain to end because we had no other choice. This rain led to our trip getting delayed until next weekend and our bookings went down the drain. We were kept on the waiting list for the hotel bookings because this was tourist season.
