There was a boy named David who lived in cottage in the woods with his grandmother and his cat Misty .One day he was strolling near the river side and he suddenly met a dark man coming towards him. The dark man has actually lost his way in the woods and approached David since has was the first human he is meeting in the entire woods.
David was scared on seeing the man since he was tall and dark. He also seemed very tired even to utter a word. David felt pity for the man and thought of bringing him some food to eat. He went home and explained grandma about the man whom he saw and asked for some food to offer him.
Grandma warned him about the strangers in wood and gave him food to feed the dark man. David rushed with food to the dark man and gave him some water to drink. He got his life back and started eating all the food as if he did not eat for past one week. After eating everything, the dark man started talking to David. He said that he was a wanderer and that he was lost in this woods. He talked so softly and offered many gifts to David and his grandma for helping him. They showed the way out of the woods and he continued his journey.
David had a good experience in meeting a strange man in the woods.
