There was a mango tree in a garden. This mango tree was home for a monkey. The monkey never allowed anyone to take mangoes from the tree. One day, a saint with some of his followers was passing through the garden but he suddenly he stopped. The followers of the saint asked him the reason, so the saint replied there is a huge amount of gold hidden under this mango tree but the monkey will not let anyone take this gold without taking a sacrifice. The rumor soon spread in the city and people rush to kill the monkey. The monkey was very intelligent that he jumped from tree to tree and finally in the lap of the saint. The saint asked the monkey why are you here go and save your gold. Then only the monkey realized his mistake that the tree was not planted by him and thus it was not his property. Thereafter, he allowed children to get mangoes from the tree.
