Once upon a time, there lived a majestic stag in a large and dense forest. He was wandering in the forest and had become very thirsty. He arrived at a pool of clear water and bend down to drink. He saw his reflection and admired his horns. He felt proud at the sight of them but was ashamed of his thin legs which looked dull and unattractive. Suddenly, he heard the loud barking of a hunter’s dogs nearing him. He fled for his life, running as fast as his thin legs would carry him. He had gotten far but his horns got stuck among the branches of a tree. He fought hard to escape the branches and heard the barking of the dogs getting close. Luckily, he was able to free his horns and ran fast to escape. He finally realized that the legs he had criticised had saved his life while the horns he had admired nearly caused his death.
