One day, his uncle had to go to office earlier than usual and Ramu had to go to school by himself. He knew the way and managed to reach school on time without any problem. In the evening, when school was out, two strangers at the school gate greeted Ramu. They saw Ramu and rushed to him. “We are from your village,” said one man. “Your mother and father sent us to bring you from Hyderabad.” Ramu believed them and got into their van to go to his hometown. Ramu didn’t realise that they were actually kidnappers.
Later, Ramu told them that the road they were on was not the route to his village. “This is another route to your village,” they said. But Ramu had his suspicions and understood that he was being kidnapped. He sat and observed the road, and when they stopped the van for a break, Ramu got down and ran to the main road. He flagged down a passing vehicle and got a ride back to the city. His uncle was waiting worriedly.
Since then, Ramu became bolder and went to school on his own.

A Gentleman in Milan
I am a young man who is about twenty-five. No style, trend or type attracts me. Rather, I love to live and walk my own way. My closest mate always points out and states that I am courageous. He says that he has noticed that trait in me at many situations.
This is a story that happened a while ago:
Once upon a Merry Monday, I felt lively and gay. I decided to take a walk by the corniche to animate myself since I missed the day's coffee. An hour or so passed by. As I returned back home, I saw an overcrowded scene.
An old man in a terrible condition. A building was collapsed due to an Earthquake and it still continued to collapse. Everyone escaped but him. He couldn't move like the other youths. No one even dared to step inside the now - living ruins. As the large structure was falling into gentle ruin, I shot myself in.
Moving, skipping and jumping from rock-to-rock, tile-to-tile and bar-to-bar, I eventually reached his room. I noticed that some help has already arrived. A large and long rope can be seen outside. I carried him on my shoulders and landed down with the help of the rope.
Once I set my foot on the floor, I felt myself on the spotlight. Many cameras were clicking photos of mine along with mics.
The mentioned - before friend asked me a question. "Weren't you afraid of getting hurt by those falling rocks?"
I replied "I wasn't even thinking about that."
He ended by stating "How lucky you are dude! People like us think every second whereas you don't know how to think. Sigh."
