A mouse was playing over a lion while it was sleeping. It disturbed the boastful lion’s slumber. It woke up in wrathfully tried to kill the mouse. The mouse prayed for mercy. The lion spared the mouse which while parting promised to help the lion when needed. One day, when the lion was caught by a hunter in a net, on hearing its roar, the mouse came to its rescue and freed the lion by cutting the net with its sharp teeth.
