Success is a very relative term. Success from your point of view may be failure from other's point of view. A person getting 99% in an exam is considered successful by most but few including that person will realise that he actually failed to get 100%.
I am in no way successful. I have just started my career and independent life. There is a long way for me to go. But I have managed to successfully relise a few of my childhood dreams of which I am proud of. My story isn't different from other people who have managed to make their dreams a reality.
The one common thing behind every success is failure. There are usually numerous rejections before an acceptance. That's how the world works. And call it an irony or whatever in my quest for success I have fallen in love with those failures. The limelight of success isn't good for everyone. The darkness of failures can help you get a good sleep :) The road travelled is always more beautiful than the destiny reached. Once you achieve your dreams you will move on to next set of dreams. There will be constant race between you dreaming and you achieving those dreams.
Struggle and failures is what makes those dreams worth achieving. When I fail I am depressed for a while (it's a sure thing) but when I overcome the depression phase I see another way to improve myself. I see life from another angle. There are so many angles to life and each one is beautiful in it's own way. To be able to see your life from multiple angles and appreciate it is incredibly pleasing.
Long after you have achieved your dreams you won't even remember how nice it felt when you finally heard the good news but you will always remember how bad it felt when you didn't get what you deserved.
Nobody looks back on their life and remembers the night they had plenty of sleep
