Once there was a boy who had been always so confident of his own abilities. He would proudly tell his friends and everyone present that he did or that by himself. He would also refuse to let others help him and was stubborn in that way. And he would also make it a point to show everyone that he is a capable individual who can do things all by himself.

It so happened that he had to go to a new place to get his things that his friend had brought for him from some foreign place.Even though he had never been to that place, he declined a friend's advice of maybe taking someone with him or even hiring a cab from home till that place. But as was expected of him, he told him he will do all things by himself and prove to everyone that he needed no help in his work. He confidently went on his way, taking vehicles and buses for some hours. Then, when it was time for him to get down of the auto and start walking to his destination, he saw that he has no idea of where he is. Feeling embarrassed to ask directions to strangers and also too confident of his own ability, he decided to use the use the map for his way. after some minutes of walking, he finally got to the place. When he reached the place, his friends asked him how he got there. He solely credited his ability to reach safely as his own effort. His pride took the better of him and made him appear as if he really is an incredible person.he is an incredible person but sometimes too conscious of his own self. Though he did not want to admit it, it was solely due to the map that he was successful that day
