Betty was playing in the neighborhood garden when she heard a puppy yelping for help. She wasted no moment and rushed to the location where the puppy was crying. She picked it up and began examining the body of the pup. He was as small as the fifteen-years old's palm but had an inch deep wound containing several maggots. She at once took the puppy home, cleaned it up, and with the help of a plucker, she pulled out all the visible maggots. Later, she cleaned the wound with a solution of antiseptic liquid and applied betadine gel over the wound. After the first aid, she ran back outside to a nearby shop to purchase cerelac for the baby. No sooner did the baby had its meal, it stopped crying. Betty kept caressing the puppy and finally made it fall asleep. At the end of that day, she took the kid to a veterinary expert for further treatment. Also, she asked her family to adopt the kid and they agreed. What a brave and happy day was that for Betty!
