Ram got the chance to play as the captain of his football team in school, RamNarayan Vidyapith, Meerut against that of their rival school Jagdish Vidyalaya, Meerut. He was very excited as it was the first time he would be playing as the captain. He started with great enthusiasm. But after 15 minutes he got badly injured by one of the members of the rival team. His fell down and his ankle was badly hurt. He was unable to get up. Everyone thought that he would give up. But after giving him first-aid, it was his immense will power that allowed him to get up and again started playing and this time with a bang. He gave three consecutive goals and made his team win. His positive attitude and stamina proved that, if you decide to win, you will win irrespective of all obstacles.
