Once upon a time, in a small town lived a crow. He was very greedy. He could do anything to fulfill his greed. once he was really hungry. He decided to go near a hut where usually many white pigeons came for food. But he knew that he won't get that food easily, as that was meant for the white pigeons only. He thought "What if I don't get the food; I can even take it by my own...ummm...Why not, STEAL the food?" But when he reached there to do the theft, he got caught and was shooed away and scolded badly. But he was very greedy for the food. He thought "I'll surely take that food by hook or by crook!"
He then went to a carpenter and painted his whole body white. Now he was not easily distinguishable from the white pigeons. He then went to the man to get the food. The man, unable to recognise the thief and gave him the food that was meant for the white pigeons.
But the pigeons, were able to recognize that he was not of their community. They decided to expose the crow. They asked their water bird friends, to bring water and pour all over his body. As soon as they did it, all the white colour from the crow's body began to wash off. His truth was exposed. The man became very angry and he beat him till a broken wing. The crow got a nice lesson and decided never to do wrong out of his greed.
