When God Closes One Door, He Opens Another
Kamala never complained when her stepmother scolded her all the time. She knew she had to be patient and grow up to be an independent girl. But one day, over a petty issue, Kamala was driven out of the house by her stepmother. With nowhere to go, Kamala spent two days in a local charity home, helping the warden there in the kitchen. One day a rich lady who always wanted to adopt a child, came to the charity home and seeing the humility of Kamala, adopted her.
Years rolled by. Kamala is now a 25 year old young, beautiful doctor. Over the years she has never changed and she still loved helping people in need. One day, as Kamala was getting down from her car in front of her hospital, she noticed an old diseased lady unconscious. With the help of nurses, she immediately moved her to the ward and started treating her for leprosy. As the old lady started recovering and becoming healthier, one day Kamala came to check on her. In a moment of recognition Kamala remembered that the old lady was her stepmother and unable to control her emotions, hugged her and cried. Her stepmother felt ashamed with such love showered on her by Kamala whom she had driven out of her house. She blessed Kamala and apologised to her and in a fit of emotion, passed away peacefull in Kamala's arms.
Ramya was 3 when her mother passed away in a one week long flu.
A year had not gone by when his father married again.
At first this seemed to be good for the child.
But soon Ramya became victim to the step mother’s wrath.
Ramyas father was very attached to the child.
And this was not tolerated.
When Ramya turned 10 one day when father was gone to a tour for a month, stepmother accused the little girl to have tried to kill her.
She threw her out from home.
Ramya walked in to the wilderness and started getting scared of the darkness.
Who knows what kind of animals are there in this wild.
She sat under a tree and started weeping.
A cart was passing by.
It stopped.
An old man came out and asked Ramya to come with him.
The old man lost his wife and daughter in an accident years back.
Since then he is broken.
Ramya seemed to be the angel.
The doctor adopted Ramya as his daughter and kept her in good care.
Now Ramya goes to school, wears nice clothes, eats well and plays with children.
One day in a newspaper Ramya read that her stepmother was ill and was suffering from a rare disease.
She could not stop-start crying.
It did not go unnoticed to the doctor.
He soon found the stepmother, treated her and took Ramya to her old home.
He told Ramya can stay back if she wanted.
The step mother was grateful to Ramya and the old man.
She asked for forgiveness.
She blessed Ramya and said that she should go back to her real home and that is the home of the doctor.
