Once upon a time there was a messenger who came on to earth to fulfill his destiny. He is considered to be the son if god. His was called as the messiah. Different religions had different names and beliefs about him.
Messiah is considered to be saviour according to Abrahamic religions.
He is considered to be high Priest in Christianity which is anointed with anointing oil.
He is a high priest and he comes on to the earth when the world is ending.
He takes good people along with him to heaven. And the wrong is going to be punished.
Christ was considered to be the messiah according to several people as he fulfilled all the destines like Crucifixion and resurrection.
