True Friendship Still Exists

Once upon a time there lived two friends named Rahul and Raja. They were very good friends that people used their friendship as a guarantee or promise. Their friendship started from their childhood. Slowly they grew up and got deepened into their bond of trust. They both used to give away their happiness for each other. Raja was attracted a lot towards antique things especially paintings. He had a great collection of it in his house. Even he had a daily routine to watch and praise his collection. Once it was like that, Rahul asked Raja to have marriage since it was a good age for it. But Raja said that he had already been married to paintings.

One day Rahul went to visit his friend, of course Raja. He already knew about Raja's so called crush and love that is paintings. But the thing was, Rahul didn't know about Raja's new painting collection. When he saw that in his home, he was fascinated towards it. He thought of feeling it. Anyhow he picked up and started to touch and see it. From back Raja came. He in hurry got frightened and by mistake the painting fell from his hand. Both of them became sad. For a next few moments their was a utter silence in the room. Raja's eyes were filled with tears. He said nothing and was in despair. Rahul began pleading and saying sorry to him. But still Raja didn't say a word. Rahul said that it was done by mistake but Raja thought that he done it knowingly for the sake of jealousy. After some time, he stood up and pushed his friend Rahul out of his home and said that they are no longer friends and he doesn't want to see his face anymore.

Rahul knew the cause of anger of Raja. He didn't say anything. Next day, he brought a costly painting for Raja and surprised him by this gift and asked him sorry again. That painting was a a beautiful white horse galloping in the green serene field. The painting which Rahul brought was dreamt of having by Raja but he couldn't afford it. On seeing that his eyes were drowned in tears. He had no words to speak. He just tightly ran towards his friend and hugged him tightly. He even asked sorry for his behavior of the last day. Both of them were friends again but this time, they were more than the last version.

This is how, true friendships exists. Even there is sorry or fights, finally it ends with a tearful and happy line. Has this happened with you any time ?

Moral :- Friendship lies in the happiness and joys of others. Money doesn't matters here.

Writing an story is an art. Everyone isn't perfect at beginning and but yes constant practice can make you work.

While writing an story, keep in mind of the tenses you use in verbs. The tense should be of simple past or past perfect (at some places). The reason because, story is the written narration of an event in past. Literally we aren't doing in prediction here.

Keep the words simple and tone subtle in the story. Also, mind the word limit of stories. Most stories are of 120 - 150 words.

Be real in what you do. Stories, that is to be framed on a given description or hint, must be realistic and practical. Imagination or virtual things aren't much advisable.

Here I have added the moral just for convenient sake. Adding moral isn't necessary for every story until or unless it had been asked. Even some stories cannot always have a moral.

Explanation:

It was Christmas, amid you know what we do in Christmas. Roam around, chocolates, gifts etc. But Christmas was something extraordinary for a small child name Rosemary. She was a small child who loved to draw and purchase drawings. She was fond of drawings of Pablo Picasso and Delacroix, something very precious and ancient. Then there's her inseparable friend, Lily. Lily Warner, was most charming and jolly girl, unlike Rosemary, who thought that she was the most richest girl of a rich household. Although her father was rich amid well mannered, Rosemary was selfish.

On that Christmas, it was something very close that had been shattered to pieces; Rosemary and Lily friendship broke. Rosemary was sharing her collection of paintings that her father bought from the National museum, and that was made by Vincent Van Gogh. But when Lily took the painting accidentally slipped off her hand and broke.

"You mean girl! How dare you? You know this was one of my favorite ones!" Lily , sadly said, " I..I really didn't ..." she ran home as fast as her legs could , greatly ashamed of what she has done. Next daddy, Rosemary being popular, put some oil and exaggerated the story by telling that Lily did it intentionally. But lily , knowing there truth never spoke it once. Lily and her family left the town at once, because they didn't wanted false allegations against them.

This was all 5 years back and now, Rosemary was unemployed. Her family was poor. But her paintings were intact. She used to paint in the street and earn money. This was her destiny.

Suddenly, a young woman came. She was impressed to see her paintings. She was from national museum, France. She took her as an employee in the museum. But she never told her name to anyone. On the day of Christmas , the woman came to Rosemary , gifted her a painting of Vincent Van Gogh with more beautiful golden frame and told, "Your gift of Christmas! Bon Nöel!" Rosemary said, " This same painting, I insulted my friend. How ashamed I am!"

" I hope you liked my gift that I broke, Rose!" The woman said. Rosemary, " Lily, you! I am very sorry that..." " Oh come on, old memories, let's go now!" And this Christmas had again glued them together, this time, truly.
