Newton and his pet dog

One evening the famous scientist Newton left his study leaving his pet dog 'Diamond' inside it. A bundle of his long twenty years research paper was lying on the table beside a lighted candle. All of a sudden Diamond jumped on to the table and overturned the candle. As a result, Newton's research paper caught fire and turned into ashes. After a while when newton returned to his study and saw the misdeed done by his dog, he became remorseful.But he said nothing to his dog,patted on his back and calmly said,"you don't know what a mischief you have done." Then he patiently went to his work.

Moral : To remain calm is a great virtue.
