What must have seemed harmless to the man who broke the signal, led to the suffering of three innocent people. Ram knew he had to do something. He held his backpack close to his chest and ran across the main road. He saw the victims lying in a pool of blood. The legs of the driver were probably broken, since his position seemed that way.

Ram got a hold of one of the children who was unconscious. He took her in his arms and carried her to the sidewalk. He saw that many people had gathered. He shouted for somebody to call an ambulance and was told that the ambulance was on its way. His heart throbbed when he felt the pulse of the little girl. He had tears in his eyes for she was breathing. He waited there until the ambulance reached within a few minutes and he went to the hospital as well. Over there he waited until they informed Ram that the man had died due to severe blood loss and one girl was in a coma while the other was conscious. He met the family of the girl who he had saved and till this day he cannot forget that dreadful sight which haunts him in his dreams.
