The Story of Water
It’s no secret that our public water and sewer systems are in need of maintenance, repair, and upgrades, making them vulnerable to private corporations offering false solutions to cities struggling to pay for these necessities. When corporations take control of our water, they prioritize turning a profit, instead of access to clean, safe, affordable drinking water that we all need to survive. Unsurprisingly, after systems are privatized, water bills are often much higher than government-owned rates.
Fortunately, cities around the country are finding creative ways to keep their water systems out of corporate control. Our animation is narrated by Bernard Young, the Mayor of Baltimore — this is the first major city in the United States to ban certain forms of water privatization, setting a new standard for public water protection that other cities can aspire to follow.
A story on 'Story of Water':
Once in a time where all the resources of our planet gathered together and had a casual talk where everyone says that they are the greatest resource in the world. Suddenly, the water comes grandly and say that without water no living things can lead their life. Even though many resources argue with it, water is the essential thing for small plants to humans. Living things can survive without other resources but water is a mandatory one. So at last water wins over other resources and proudly said that I am the mightiest resource on the planet.
