  • Cities began to be over-crowded with people.
  • In order, to spread their business across the country the British Government started setting up railway lines to far off places. This also helped in the growth of industries .
  • During the Swadeshi Movement , there was a growth of industries. During this time of industrial development there emerged a class of working class.
