When I woke up in the morning, I was a fighter hen being prepared for the traditional hen fight competition ' Kandem Pollu'.

A weapon was tied around my neck and I was worshipped by the village priest.

When I reached the ground, I was given a grand welcome by my supporters.

I reached the final of ' Kandem Pollu' by defeating all other hens . But I was badly beaten by the champion hen ' Tara' in the competition final.

But still my owner petted me and gave me fresh grains and water.
