Unity is Strength
Two hungry cats are loitering for food. They spot a piece of bread. Both of them need it as they are starving. So they start to fight. A monkey seeing this, comes to help. They agree to it. The monkey breaks the bread and one piece is big and the other is small. Both cats fight for the larger portion. So the clever monkey eats a part of the larger one to make both parts equal. But it becomes smaller now. So to equalise, it eats the bread fully. Now the cats realise their mistake. The monkey cleverly used their dispute.
The golden thread of wool
Once there lived (near a tree) two cats, Tin and Ben. Both were very good friends and they always played together in the grass of the park. One day they found something lying near a tree. They wondered what it could be. They went near it a bit scared and nervous. It was wool, a thread of wool. Or more appropriately, a ball of woolen thread. It was very beautiful, soft and shiny. Its golden colour attracted them. They both claimed it to be theirs and started fighting for it. Soon they thought that they were fighting for just a ball of wool! They went to a tailor and told him to wove it into a blanket. The next day the blanket was ready. It was shiny, beautiful and cozy. They both took it from the tailor and went away happily to their small tree. They both were very exited to use that blanket. In the way they found a boy who seemed to be of around six to seven year old. He was shivering. Tin and Ben felt pity on him and gave him their blanket. The boy was very happy. He gave them a bowl. Tin and Ben took it gratefully. They reached home and kept the bowl at a side. Next day they saw that the bowl was filled with different types of fishes! It was a magic bowl. Now everyday they got different types of food from the bowl. They lived happily ever after and also helped the poor and needy by providing them with food.
