Answer:It was raining heavily and I was alone. Leaves covered the path I walked upon. My hair soaked, rain seeping through my coat. My breath was easily seen. Across the road was a field. The clouds began to move, casting the moon's light over the darkness. I was miles away from home. My car was in the shop and the bus had been delayed due to the rain, so I was forced to travel by foot. I approached a house. It looked abandoned but I was only hoping to find a sliver of warmth, and food. The windows were boarded up, and an old oak tree had fallen on the roof of the west wing. A willow branch swept the walkway as I walked past, causing me to look back. The sky was now clear, the moon bright and full. I walked into the house. The furniture was hidden under white sheets. I saw stairs and decided to explore. As I was taking my footing to the fourth step, the stair snapped in half, sending me plunging down into the basement of the house. Something had broken my fall. I looked down, and a corpse of a young child was found underneath me.
