'Hard work pays off'

>There was a boy who was in 9th std. His name was Viki. He was good in studies and every teacher would admire him a lot. From the 1st std, he topped his class in each exam. He would come 1st or 2nd and even 3rd but not more below than that. He was a silent person.

>One day when he entered the class, his friends were talking and discussing about a particular topic. He asked them what they were discussing about? They told him that they all were discussing about a game, they further told him that it is an interesting game where we have to build our village, you should also try it once. The boy agreed and downloaded that game.

>He started playing that game everyday at a daily basis. He found that game interesting but was unaware that some worst experiences were waiting for him in future. Soon he started to give more time to his game than studies. Exams were going to be conducted next month but he didn’t cared.

>In the class, when teacher would ask him question about any topic, he would face some difficulties while telling the answers because he didn’t studied anything. Soon the teachers started to tell him that he was losing his focus on studies but he didn’t took that seriously. Exam days approached but he didn’t studied anything.

>He gave all the papers and was waiting for results. Soon the result day came and when he gone to collect the result, he was shocked to see that he got only 68.8%. He was deeply hurted, his classmates were shocked, every teacher scolded him very much that why didn’t he studied ? Even his parents asked him the reason that why he got such low marks ? he was speechless, he couldn’t tell them that it happened just due to that game which he would play all day long.

>Everyone scolded him, none in the class would talk with him properly. He was crying but there was none who could guide him. He decided to delete that game and focus back on studies. Soon he made habit again to study at regular intervals. Term exams approached. He gave all the papers nicely and after the results were declared, he found that he got 85 %. He expected more but he was happy with those marks because of his hard work. Teachers and parents told him that he need more improvement.

>He promised himself that he will work harder to gain his rank back. He studied harder day and night. He revised all his textbooks and even practiced them well. In few days, his answering increased. Whenever teacher would ask question, his hand was raised first. He also promised his teachers that he will surely achieve his rank back.

>Final exams approached and he wrote all the papers very well. Soon the results were declared and when he went to collect his result, he was surprised. He saw that he got 2nd rank in the class.

>His happiness knew no bounds. Teachers appreciated him for his hard work and he got his lost goodwill back. His parents felt proud too. His eyes were filled with tears. He thanked the god to show him right path. He realised the importance of true hard work.

Hard work, which is the key to success, will help a student to enhance his skills. It will also increase his confidence which is a must for all students. A student must know the importance of time.

Answer:

Answer:Hard work is the only key to achieving it; it teaches us discipline, dedication and determination. Hard work is definitely more important because it is only through hard work that we can achieve the goals of our life. Smart work, on the other hand, often leads to shortcuts and procrastination.
