My father was usually sleeping on the couch when i get home from school so when I got home from school that's what I saw but little did he know I had a friend with me. "Hello lucy" My dad said suspiciously. I tried to go before my dad could hear but i guess i was not lucky. "Who is your friend?" he asks. "This is Charlie..my boyfriend." I said with my face bubblegum pink looking at the ground ashamed. "Hmm I see time to do an inspection." My dad said. "No not the inspection!" I said dramatically. "W-h-ats the inspection?" Charlie asked. "Im gonna do it!" My dad said ignoring him. "If Charlie really loved you he would stay with you forever and There's nothing you can do to scare him away." "Lucy take of your shoes!" My dad continued. "Dad..no" I said as my face turned redder and redder. "Do it because what if i'm right how do you know he loves you?" My dad says. "But I do love her!" Charlie said. "We will see Lucy. Shoes. Now!" The moment I took off my shoes that was when... "AAHH!" Charlie said running out of the door screaming "TOES...TOES!!" "I told you I was right!" My dad said. "Its okay" he continued "Even if you have 11 toes on each foot I will still love you charlie does not appreciate you as much as I do."
