A strange man.
At a bar downtown, in another city, state, country if you feel so inclined. This man was continually in close proximity and I did not mind. He was hung over this broad he locked gazes with a few minutes ago. "Wingman," he told me and I knew exactly what to do. "Two Jaegers and one bomb for my missus over there", I tried to keep a straight face but it was impossible, I even tried to bite my lip. He kicked me in the shin and made a face which made me burst out my brown drink and almost choke on the ice. He joined me in symphony and slowed down. Walking over to the woman almost made him nauseous as he had too much to drink for courage, coward. I broke when he bent over and started throwing up blood. A few seconds later I was on my feet and ready to jump as he was bleeding profusely on the adhesive floor of the clubhouse. The lady, terrified, eagerly sprints to the powder room. I could hear him mumbling a few words, "she was a vegan" he said. I will never forget that strange man.
