A pen is mightier than a sword.
Today we do not use the sword but the pen in life. Written communication is more effective than physical vigour. Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a little boy called Lucas. The people of the village were uneducated. There was a local school in the village, but many of the children in the village did not bother to go since the parents themselves were not aware of the importance of education. Lucas, however, liked going to school, he liked to read and learn new things. In the village lived a wealthy landlord who often abused the villagers and cheated them. The villagers, however, were helpless since they were unaware of their rights and often ended up being exploited by the landlord. Years passed and Lucas realised the cheap tricks of the landlord. Instead of starting a strike that he thought would bring more trouble, he wrote a book about the natural rights of the villagers and published it. This dawned upon the villagers the realisation that the landlord had been cheating on them for years. They together filed a case against the landlord and he was arrested. Thus, Lucas was able to liberate the villagers with his writings.
