hare and tortoise were friend they live in jungle one day rabbit challenged tortoise to race.As we all know hare runs quickly and tortoise walk slowly he was pretty sure that he will win the race and he was feeling proud of himself. he insulted tortoise by saying I can run very quick, you are so slow you will definitely defeated by me. they decided the race will be held on Tuesday. the hare laughed and laughed. sure I will win the hare said. they agreed to start next to a big tree and finish at the river. they also called their friends to watch the race. the hare stood beside the tortoise and then the race began. hare runs very fast and goes ahead while on the other hand tortoise walks slowly.He told himself that now tortoise is so far away from me that he will not be able to defeat me. till tortoise reach here, I take some rest.He was awake and the tortoise won the race here. from this race hare learnt a moral lesson :- that you can be more successful by doing things slowly and steadily than by acting quickly and carelessly
